One day
有一天，
a little girl brought two apples from the street
一個小女孩從街上帶回兩個蘋果，
she said mom look how beautiful the apples are
她說：「媽媽，看看這些蘋果多麼美麗」，
the mom replied yeah they are very beautiful
媽媽回答說：「是啊，它們真的很漂亮」，
can we share them
我們能分著吃嗎？
the girl looked at the apples and took a bite of one
小女孩看著蘋果，並咬了一口，
she thought for a second
她思考了一秒鐘，
and then took another bite from the second apple
然後又從第二個蘋果上咬了一口，
the mom was shocked and thought
媽媽感到震驚，並想到，
what a greedy girl I raised
我養大的這個女兒真是貪婪，
she couldn't share an apple even with her mother
她連一個蘋果都不能和她媽媽分享，
but the girl gave one apple to the mom and said
但是小女孩給了媽媽一個蘋果，並說：
mom take this apple it's sweeter
媽媽，拿這個蘋果，它更甜，
don't rush to judge others
不要急於對他人下評斷，
take time to understand their perspective
花一些時間理解他們的視角，
before forming conclusions.
